Arts Manager | Museum Professional | Folklorist
Sarah Wyer is a recent Graduate of the University of Oregon (2017) and holds a Masters of Arts in Arts & Administration with a concurrent Masters degree in Folklore. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Museum Studies.
Within Arts & Administration (AAD), Sarah focused on Museum Studies and Community Arts, working on supporting local arts organizations and museum program & membership development. She was part of the 2015-2016 AAD Professional Project working with OSLP Arts & Culture to create a 3-5 year strategic plan for the local arts organization.
Sarah's thesis for her Folklore Masters degree is called "Folk Networks, Cyberfeminism, and Information Activism in the Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon Series" and involved addressing gender representation inequities on Wikipedia with a specific focus on women artists.
